TLI Dalian Chinese Language Center is one of the eighteen branches all over the world of TLI Group.With TLI¡¯s expertise in teaching Chinese to foreign students since 1956, and excellent location and facilities, this new program provides an outstanding cross-cultural environment for students from all over the world. It is believed that TLI Dalian shall become a top choice for those who need to build Chinese language skills in the city of Dalian.
Class size and course contents are flexibly offered at TLI Dalian, including different levels of courses for Individual Classes and Group Classes (2 or more students) .
Individual Classes provide a highly intensive, personalized form of instruction, which enable students to learn Chinese at the pace suitable to individual needs and abilities. Individual Class schedule can be flexible.
Group Classes are offered in four 3-month terms annually. Group Classes provide a lively, interactive atmosphere with a broad range of learning activities. Students shall enjoy excellent opportunities to practice Chinese with each other in classroom and off the classroom.
In addition to language courses, TLI Dalian also offers Cultural Courses such as Chinese cooking, painting, calligraphy¡­etc..
NOTE: Group classes must start at the beginning of each term. Individual classes may start at any time.
     
 
 TLI Dalian has different sizes of classrooms designing for different purposes£¬including facilities for cultural studies in dance, flower arrangement, music, painting and audio/visual production. Since the school is located at the heart of Dalian Development Zone, there are commercial district, star-rated hotels, shopping mall, Japanese and Korean restaurants, and banks are located within the area.
Accommodation is also available to applicants. Choices are offered by hotels in the neighborhood. TLI Dalian also provides home-stay program for students who wish to have a more in-depth cultural experience and total language immersion.
     
 
 Beginner students focusing on speaking and listening skills shall adopt TLI materials in Mainland China version. Intermediate and advanced students may choose from a broad range of existing materials, depending on study purposes and language levels.
 ¡°Student-centered¡± approach is TLI Dalian¡¯s commitment starting from its establishment. Most of our attentions are paid to the goals, problem and needs of each individual.
All teachers in the TLI Dalian are college graduates and native speakers of Mandarin. They are required to have both extensive trainings in teaching Chinese as a second language and on-the-job trainings in teaching knowledge and methods as well.
TLI Dalian¡¯s flexible curriculum covers all levels of language ability. After reaching the intermediate level, students can expand their communication skills in fields of reading, writing, Chinese TV News, and other areas of interests.
 Application forms can be obtained by writing or sending e-mail to the Admissions Office of the TLI Dalian Chinese Language Center. A payment schedule, course calendar and detailed instructions will be included with the application form. After the application forms have been filled out completely, they shall be mailed back to TLI. New students must complete their application procedures at least 6 weeks before the start of classes.
It is also important that new students shall come to TLI Dalian at least three days before the start of classes.
